According to the current assessment of the authorities, there is no acute danger from Covid-19 for events in the buildings of mainzplus CITYMARKETING GmbH (Rheingoldhalle, Kurfürstliches Schloss, Frankfurter Hof and KUZ Kulturzentrum Mainz). There is therefore currently no reason to impose a restriction on the event business in the above mentioned buildings. We would like to point out that this statement relates to the current state of affairs (as of 02. 03. 2020) - if the situation changes, we will adjust the information accordingly. The following measures apply to the events in the houses of mainzplus CITYMARKETING GmbH:
The mainzplus CITYMARKETING GmbH is in close and constant exchange with the German Red Cross, the health authorities (including Health Office Mainz-Bingen) as well as the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC), the German Convention Bureau e. V. (GCB) and the German National Tourist Board V. (GNTB) to monitor current developments and respond promptly.
The Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Health offers a good overview of Covid-19 on its homepage. Among other things, information on the current status, the course of the disease and hygiene tips are illustrated there. The basic principle is that compliance with the relevant hygienic protective measures (e. g. frequent and thorough hand washing, adherence to the sneezing and coughing label, avoid shaking hands) is urgently recommended. The first point of contact for flu symptoms requiring treatment is the family doctor. The practice visit or a necessary home visit should be clarified in advance by telephone. In the area of responsibility of the Health Department of Mainz-Bingen (district of Mainz-Bingen and independent city of Mainz), no confirmed cases of infection with Covid-19 have occurred to date (as of 02. 03. 2020). Regarding the handling of suspicious cases, the Mainz-Bingen Health Office strictly adheres to the daily updated guidelines of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and is in constant contact with the Ministry of Health and the State Investigation Office.

Take advantage of our digital possibilities in times of Covid-19 - and beyond.
Personal encounters are essential in our everyday business, enabling individual connections to be made and new projects to be launched. However, the current impact of Covid-19 has prompted us to find creative solutions to reduce the potential health harzards in our personal dealings with risk groups - or people who might be at risk.
Therefore, as a congress and conference centre, we are doing our utmost to develop digital alternatives that we can offer you instead of already planned and/or potential events. Together with our technology and service partners, we offer you the possibility to broadcast your personal event live (from and to our locations). This allows your audience to take part in all presentations, workshops and discussion rounds from a distance.
Several organizers already use these options to avoid having to postpone or even cancel their events. We would like to support you in ensuring that your event can also take place under the given circumstances.
